Edukitor

Edukitor is a cloud-based school management system built for Philippine schools. RFID and QR tap-based check-in tracks attendance automatically and works offline with automatic sync. Teachers input marks and the system auto-calculates report cards to DepEd standards. Schools post real-time announcements school-wide or to specific classes, parents get live access to attendance and grades from any device, and teachers, principals, parents, and students each get their own role-based dashboard with row-level security.

01 — The challenge

Schools across Mindanao were tracking attendance and grades on paper and spreadsheets, with no shared system connecting teachers, principals, and parents. Attendance took manual tallying, report cards were calculated by hand against DepEd standards, and parents had no way to check in on their child during the school day.

02 — The approach

Built a cloud-based school management platform: RFID and QR tap-based check-in that works offline and syncs automatically, a grading system that auto-calculates report cards to DepEd standards, real-time school-wide and class-specific announcements, a parent portal for live attendance and grades, and role-based dashboards with row-level security for teachers, principals, parents, and students.

03 — The outcome

The platform now tracks over 1 million records at 99.9% uptime. One school alone runs 2,000+ students through 1,200+ RFID check-ins a day, each completing in 1-3 seconds, and schools report saving 10+ hours of manual work per week.
